Shimano 3 speed or 5 speed for dutch roadster
I am buying a Dutch roadster commuter bike ( an omafiet).
I am being given an option of a Shimano 3 speed or 8 speed. Where I live it is mostly
flat with moderate grades. I do not live in pancake flat Holland - but If I plan to use it for getting around town - Do I really need more than 3 speeds ?
